Common mistakes with WhatsApp links
Most broken WhatsApp codes come from the number format. Check these before printing.
- Leaving the + or 00 in the number. The link needs digits only.
- Keeping a trunk 0 after the country code, such as 44 07700. The tool removes it, but check the link.
- Using a number that is not registered on WhatsApp. The chat then opens with an error.
- Writing a very long message. Keep it to one line so the code stays easy to scan.
- Forgetting to test. Scan the printed code with a phone that does not have your number saved.
