Writing schema markup by hand for every page is slow, and it is easy to miss pages. Valid markup is not a guarantee.
Valid schema makes a page eligible for rich results, but Google decides what to show. Some types, such as AboutPage and ContactPage, have no rich result at all, and Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026. The markup still helps search engines and AI tools understand each page, so it is worth getting right.
