Choosing a page size for your PDF
The right page size depends on what happens to the PDF next. If it will be printed or uploaded to a form that expects standard documents, use a paper size. If it will only be viewed on screen, keeping each page at its image size avoids white borders. Margins give printers room to grip the paper and stop the edges of a document photo from being cut off.

Combining phone photos of documents into one PDF
Most document uploads fail because the photos are sideways, dark or too large. A little care while taking the pictures saves time later, and the same steps work on Android phones and iPhones.
- Shoot each page from directly above, in good light, with the page filling the frame.
- Use the rotate buttons for any page that came out sideways.
- Add the pages in reading order, then drag or use the arrows to fix any that are out of place.
- Check the portal's size limit. If the PDF is too big, choose Medium or Small file quality, or grayscale.
- Name the file clearly before converting, for example with your name and the document type.
