PDF form up to 100 MB. Filled in your browser, never uploaded.
How to use
Open the form
Drop in the PDF. The tool reads its form fields and shows each one as a box over the page, with a count of fields found in the side panel.
Fill it in
Click a field and type, or tick and choose options. Tab moves to the next field. Use Show field list for a plain list, or Add text, Date, Tick and Cross for forms without fillable fields.
Download the filled PDF
Tick Flatten if the answers should be locked, then press Download filled PDF. You get a copy with a -filled suffix and a note about any required fields left empty.
Why Fill PDF Forms Online
- Type into text fields, check boxes, radio buttons, drop-downs and list boxes on the page.
- Add text, dates, ticks and crosses to forms that have no fillable fields.
- Save answers as JSON and reload them, or flatten the form when you are done.
- The form is filled in your browser and never uploaded.
Fillable fields and flat forms
A fillable PDF has form fields built in, so each answer box knows its type, options and limits. A flat form is just a printed page saved as PDF, often a scan. This tool handles both: fields are filled directly, and flat forms get text, dates and marks placed where you click.
| Field | How you fill it here |
|---|---|
| Text field | Type on the page or in the list; character limits are kept |
| Check box | Click to tick or clear |
| Radio buttons | Click one choice; click it again to clear |
| Drop-down | Pick an option, or type your own if the field allows it |
| List box | Pick one or, where allowed, several options |
| Signature | Shown as a box; sign with Draw or the Sign PDF tool |
Before you send a filled form
A quick check saves a form being sent back.
- Read the message after download for required fields still empty.
- Flatten when the form is final, so answers cannot be changed by mistake.
- Keep the JSON data file if you fill the same form every month or year.
