About Brand Extractors

The Brand category has 8 tools for studying a brand or starting one. Six of them read a live website. The Logo Extractor finds logo files from the page markup, header images and icon links. The Website Color Extractor ranks the colors used in a site's CSS and exports them as CSS variables, Tailwind or JSON. The Website Font Detector lists every font and where it comes from, such as Google Fonts or Adobe. The Tech Stack Detector spots the CMS, framework, analytics and payment tools a site uses. The Brand Asset Pack Downloader bundles the logo, favicons, OG image, colors and fonts into one ZIP, and the Sitemap Visualizer shows a site's pages as a folder tree. To build your own identity, the Logo Maker creates editable logos from a brand name and the Font Pairing Generator suggests Google Fonts that work together. These tools suit designers, agencies and marketers researching a client or a competitor.

Common questions

How do these tools get data from a website?

The six tools that read a URL fetch the public HTML and CSS through our server, the same files a browser downloads. They do not log in or read anything that is not public. The Logo Maker and Font Pairing Generator do not read any website.

Can I use a logo I extract from another site?

The tools only find files that are already public, but logos and fonts are usually protected by trademark or license. Get permission before you use another company's brand assets. The tools are most useful for collecting your own or a client's assets quickly.

Why did the Tech Stack Detector miss something?

It checks about 30 known signatures for CMS, framework, analytics and payment tools, plus WordPress theme and plugin folders. Tools that leave no trace in the page source will not show up.

Why are some colors or fonts missing?

The extractors read the CSS the page links to. Colors inside images, or styles added by JavaScript after the page loads, may not appear. Some sites also block automated requests.

What is inside the Brand Asset Pack?

The ZIP holds the site's logo, favicons, Open Graph image, a colors.json file, a fonts.txt file and a one-page brand sheet. It is a quick starting point for a brand audit or a new client brief.
